Home Staging Before And After Photos From West Chicago

home staging before and after photosWhen I need design inspiration I go to Home Staging Before And After Photos. I love seeing the magic my fellow staging professionals can create. And so, in that spirit, I’m going to share a recent project in West Chicago.

Victoria Grayson ChairWe wanted to bring out the brick fireplace and yet suggest Spring. The blue teal accents lend a lively touch of color while adding some contrasting texture.  Our calligraphy chairs are a huge hit. Every since the TV show ‘Revenge’ aired, a stuffed soft armed chair covered in calligraphied fabric, with studded trim has been a popular piece.  That we have a pair is just great fun! We have a textured sofa in dark gray anchoring the space and providing balance with the fireplace opposite and an “upcycled” coffee table. The whole look is a good illustration of “Urban Organ Modern” – one of the biggest design movements at the moment.

As you can see, we painted the walls a warm gray and tied in the center island to match. We made sue that the cabinets were a crisp white to match the Moldings and doors in the home and create a stylish, inviting interior.

Check out the cool fish tank in place of a pass-thru to the formal dining room. What a great addition to the home, good light, see through and the calming effect of fish!

Before And After home staging photos

It is quite amazing when you see how a rooms works for family life, versus more open with good flow when you stage it for sale. Home staging before and after photos do tell our story very clearly.

Two sofas across a corner, facing a fireplace makes sense for entertaining and maximum seating, but look how much more open the room looks with only one sofa and 2 chairs. Now the room accommodates the 2 openings nicely.
